Difference between Catching Fire Book and Movie
There are a lot of movies that are based on famous novels or on the famous series of books written by different authors. For example the movies based on the novels written by Dan Brown, movies based on the Harry Potter and many others. When a story written in a book is converted into a movie, the difficulties of the cast and crew of the movie increased because these books have already become world famous and to portray the exact same character in the exact same manner and that the same type of location and to follow the same storyline and the sequence is very difficult.
Die Hard fans of the books expect the movie to be exactly similar to the book with no changes into it. But, it is practically impossible for the cast and crew of the movie and hence sometimes the fans get disheartened. Peeta’s Swimming
In the book Peeta cannot swim and this becomes a great hurdle for him since in the 75th level of hunger games there is a big lake that Peeta and Kaitniss have to cross.
In the movie Peeta’s inability to swim becomes the biggest trouble and the storyline within the hunger games needed to be altered a lot. So the solution was to show that Peeta can swim.
Where are Bonny and Twill
In the book Kaitniss meets two refugees named Bonny and Twill in the woods. Bonny reminds her of Rue and they also inform her about District 13 and the growing anti Capitol sentiment.
Bonny and Twill characters are cut off from the movie and hence the filmmakers will have to find a new way to inform Kaitniss about District 13 and the growing distress.
Alvida (Bye-Bye) Darius
In the book while preventing another Peace Keeper from whipping Gale, Darius a Peace Keeper loses his tongue. He is the favourite Peace Keeper of Kaitniss.
In the movie scissor’s have been moved on the character of Darius also.
