The Odds are never in our Favor
While Katniss and Peeta are going towards the Capitol in the train they pass by a place. On one of the walls on their way outside the train has written on it "The odds are never in our favor." These are kind of a parody to the lines often spoken by Katniss's and Peeta's escort Effie Trinket.
The chariot ride is considered to be an important part. It is when the tributes give their first public appearance to the residents of the capitol. Seeing the scene of it in the second part one can definitely assume that the movie must be having a very big budget.
This time it is the 75th Hunger Games which are also known as the quarter quell. It is one of the most awaited hunger games.
When President Snow declares the third quarter quell, it gives us a very grand feeling as the 75th Hunger Games (quarter quells) are a rare thing.
In a scene Caesar Flickerman is introducing Katniss to the audience as the winner of the last Hunger Games. And she was the one recognized as a fire girl due to her costumes in the previous year. So this year she displayed her costume which looked like a black bird and was ignited with fire.
In the movie Catching Fire the terrain for the battle arena
is also changed. In the last movie it was in an open ground in between a forest
while this time it is in a watery terrain. The tributes enters in between of a
water body.
